Vegan Fast Food Options

IMG_4554.jpg

For years I avoided fast food because there were no vegan options, however sometimes you are traveling or hanging out with friends and family and need the convenience of a quick and inexpensive meal. Traveling and trying to find food was frustrating and I had to prep ahead, that’s changed over the years as more plant based options are available. Having a baby now and still wanting to travel with my partner means that meals have to be quick so that we can get to our destination and have a happy baby. Below are some places I’ve tried that are fast, inexpensive, and pretty good.

Subway : Veggie Delight Sandwich, salad, beyond meatball sandwich

Carls Jr: Beyond burger- no mayo or cheese, fries

McDonalds: Oatmeal no cream, I heard they have salads you can customize but sometimes I don’t have energy to ask for so many substitutions.

Starbucks: Oatmeal, plain bagel and avocado packs (they’ve added more products but I usually stick to this)

Burger King: Impossible Burger- cooked in microwave not mayo or cheese, kids pbj, fries

Jack N the Box: Teriyaki Rice bowls no chicken

Chipotle: Veggie Burrito- I like to get the veggie salad too and the guacamole is free.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Almond milk and oatmilk for coffee, hashbrowns, beyond sausage sandwich without egg or cheese

There’s also Del Taco and Taco Bell- but no one I travel with likes these two places lol

Domino’s- thin crust pizza with tomato sauce and veggies- no cheese

In-n-out- order a veggie burger without cheese and sauce and mustard and ketchup and a side a fries. It’s basically just a sandwhich with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles if you ask for it.

Panda Express- this chain recently adapted their veggie rolls, chow mein, veggies, rice, and eggplant tofu to be plant based.

Hope this helps when you eat out with friends or need a quick meal on the go.
