Pregnancy Friendly Natural Beauty Products

It’s been close to five months since my beautiful baby has made it earthside. Giving birth has been a truly life changing experience and with it I have felt so re-energized to continue my passions and follow my goals. Which brings me to update my blog. I want to share some products that were so helpful during pregnancy for me. Pregnancy was definitely a period of adjustments and changes. I was very sensitive to smells and scents and that changed my beauty and care routine. The products below made things more manageable.

Trader Joe’s Argan Oil

My face was incredibly dry and sensitive during pregnancy. I even had patches under my mouth and this argan oil was truly magical. I love this product because it works on my hands, face, body and hair. It helps remove makeup and tame my frizzy hair. Plus the little bottle top has a tight seal that if you carry it with you it won’t spill.

Sappo Hill Glycerine Cream Soap Almond

Because my skin was so sensitive I wanted something mild and used this soap during my pregnancy and postpartum. It was mild and the scent was great too.

Beautiful Belly Crème
I purchase a tub of this cream along with a moisturizer with spf from this company. The belley creme was soothing and extremely rich. After showering I’d lather this cream on my belly and body and just felt so loved and cared for. I still have a tub and use it to hydrate my skin.

J.R. Liggett's Old Fashioned Shampoo Bar
This unscented shampoo bar was helpful with my hair because of the scent sensitivities. My hair is currently going through the postpartum changes and I have had to stop using it because I need something more hydrating but I used it even before pregnancy and really enjoyed it.

Brite Organix Bar None Hydrating Conditioner Bar
This bar is scented but the smell was pleasant to me. It was also hydrating enough at the time and I really enjoyed it. I originally could find it at Ulta but more recently I’ve only found it at Urban Outfitters. My hair is currently going through the postpartum transitions and I have had to stop using it :[

Schmidt's Natural Deodorant-unscented
This deodorant was so helpful, I did a lot of movement the first 5 months of pregnancy and would sweat but I couldn’t handle the scented deodorants. Prior to pregnancy I used the Schmidt vanilla rose and lavender sage deodorants but during pregnancy that scent irritated my nose and I knew I need to find something else. The unscented deodorant worked for me even when I marched at Pride at 7 months pregnant and didn’t irritate my skin. The only downside is that I could only find it at whole foods near my job and not at any others I’d go to.

Dr. Bronner's Organic Hair Creme Lavender Coconut
This hair creme helped keep my curls in place even in the humidity- the smell also somehow didn’t bother me. I was able to purchase mine at Sprouts.

I hope this was helpful :]
